Services

Web applications that
load fast and stay up.

A web application is where your customers meet your business. It has to open quickly on a cheap phone, work on a slow connection, and keep private data private. We build for those conditions first, then make it look good.

Who this is for

We work best with people who need the web to do real work, not just to look pretty.

Businesses selling or booking online

Customers browse, book, and pay on their phones. Every extra second of load time costs you orders, so speed here is a business number, not a technical one.

Teams that need an internal portal

Staff in different offices need one place to enter and see the same data. A web application removes installation from every machine and keeps one version of the truth.

Products that must be found on the web

If search engines cannot read your pages, your marketing pays for traffic you should get free. Server rendering fixes that at the foundation.

How we work

From the first conversation to the version running in production.

1

Understand

We start with the people who will use the application and the task they need to finish. We map the screens, the data behind them, and the rules that decide what happens. You approve a scope, a price, and a target date before we open an editor.

2

Build

We put a running version on a staging URL in the first weeks and keep it updated. You click through it on your own phone and give feedback while changes are still small. Every change goes through review and automated checks before it reaches production.

3

Support

We deploy to production, set up monitoring and backups, and show your team how to operate it. After launch we watch errors and performance and fix what appears. Dependencies and security patches stay current under a maintenance agreement.

What’s included

The standard package for every web application we deliver.

  • Responsive layouts that work on phone, tablet, and desktop
  • Server-side rendering for fast first loads and search engines
  • Secure user accounts, roles, and permissions
  • A database design built to grow with your data
  • Automated deployment with Docker to your chosen host
  • Mobile money payments (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money) and ZRA Smart Invoice integration
  • Error monitoring, logging, and scheduled database backups
  • Source code in your repository plus a written handover

Built right

Four things decide whether a web application is good. None of them show up in a screenshot. The page you are reading now is server-rendered, so you can check the first one yourself.

Server-side rendering

The server sends finished HTML, so the page shows content before any script runs. This site is built the same way. Turn off JavaScript and the words are still here.

  • Content visible on the first response
  • Search engines read the page without running scripts
  • Works on old phones and weak connections

Performance

Speed is design work, not a step at the end. We measure page weight and load time during the build and treat a slow page as a defect.

  • Small JavaScript bundles, split by route
  • Images sized, compressed, and served in modern formats
  • Database queries indexed and measured under load
  • Caching and compression set up at the server

Accessibility

People use the web with keyboards, screen readers, and poor eyesight. Accessible markup helps them, and it makes the page clearer for everyone else.

  • Semantic HTML and correct heading order
  • Every control reachable and usable by keyboard
  • Labels on all form fields and clear error messages
  • Colour contrast checked against WCAG levels

Security

We treat every input from a browser as untrusted. The goal is simple: a mistake by one user must not expose another user’s data.

  • HTTPS everywhere with secure cookies and headers
  • Passwords hashed, secrets kept out of the code
  • Input validated on the server, not only the browser
  • Access checked per request, per role, per record
  • Dependencies scanned and patched on a schedule

What we build with

A small, proven stack. Any competent web developer can read it, run it, and continue it after we hand it over.

Common questions

The questions we hear most often, answered plainly.

Do I own the code?

Yes. The client owns the deliverables. Source code, designs, and documentation are yours, and we push them to a repository in your account from the start of the project. Hosting accounts, domains, and third-party services are registered in your name, not ours.

How do you charge?

For a well-defined application we give a fixed quote and you know the total before work starts. For larger work we split the project into milestones with a price for each, and you pay as each milestone is delivered. We agree the model in the discovery call. Hosting and third-party fees are separate and paid by you directly.

How long does a project take?

A focused application such as a booking or portal site usually takes six to twelve weeks. A large platform with payments, roles, and reporting takes longer. We give you a schedule after the discovery call, once the scope is clear, and we show you a running version early so progress is visible.

What happens after launch?

We fix defects found in the agreed period after launch at no extra cost. After that most clients keep a maintenance agreement, which covers security patches, dependency updates, monitoring, backups, and small changes each month. If you prefer, you can call us only when you need something. Either way the system stays yours.

Let’s talk about your application

Bring a sketch, a spreadsheet, or just the problem. We will tell you what we would build, roughly what it costs, and how long it takes. The call is free and there is no obligation.
