How we work

Three stages. You know what is happening at each one.

Understand

We sit with the people who do the work and watch what they actually do. We write down the steps, the exceptions, and the rules nobody wrote down. Then we agree on scope, a fixed price or milestones, and what success looks like before any code is written.

Build

We build in short cycles and show you working software early, not slide decks. You use each version and tell us what is wrong while it is still cheap to change. Code goes into your repository from the first day, so you always see the progress.

Support

We hand over the system with documentation, an installation guide, and a walkthrough for your team. After launch we fix defects, add what you learned you needed, and keep dependencies current. You can hold us on a support agreement or call us as needed.

Custom software is not always the right answer. Here is how we tell the difference, and we will say so in the first call if a product you can buy today will serve you better.

Buy off-the-shelf when…

A ready-made product costs less, starts sooner, and is maintained by someone else. That is a real advantage. Take it when you can.

Common questions

Straight answers to the things clients ask us first.

Do I own the code?

Yes. You own the deliverables. The source code, the designs, and the documentation are yours, and they go into a repository you control. We do not hold your system hostage, and you can hire another developer to continue the work at any time.

How do you charge?

Two ways. For work with a clear scope we give a fixed quote, so you know the total before we start. For larger or less certain work we break the project into milestones and you pay per milestone. We agree which model fits during the discovery call, and we never start work on a price you have not seen.

How long does a project take?

A small internal tool usually takes a few weeks. A system that replaces how a department works usually takes a few months. We give you a schedule after the discovery call, once we know the real scope. If we find something that changes the schedule, you hear it from us early, not at the end.

What happens after launch?

Software is not finished at launch. We fix defects found in the agreed period after handover at no extra cost. After that you can keep us on a support and maintenance agreement, or call us when you need a change. We have supported our own products since 2018, so long-term maintenance is normal work for us.
